Buster Girl by Phoebe Stabler

Seated girl figure known as 'Buster Girl' by Phoebe Stabler for Ashtead Potters Ltd. The piece has the full Ashtead Potters backstamp with the ‘plus sign’ date mark which is generally believed to signify 1932. The glaze is ‘Pearl Barley’ as indicated by the ‘k’ mark. The model number of M49 appears both as a hand painted mark and also an embossed mark.

This is a lovely colourway with purple hat and ginger hair.

Condition – excellent apart from a 10mm x 10mm (approx.) shallow chip to side of the base rim. No cracks or restoration.
