Lloyd George Ashtead Potters David Low Ashtray

This rare Ashtead Potters ashtray depicts a cartoon by political cartoonist Sir David Alexander Cecil Low. It is of the patented Cho-Kr shape and shows Lloyd George as a lion tamer. The glaze colour of the item is ivory white.

The ashtray has the Ashtead Potters mark along with the 'circle' date code whch is thought to indicate 1930.

The ashtray is in excellent condition apart from a small chip to the rim at the top of the piece.
